Yesterday at the USASA Specialty Ike went Winner's Dogs under judge Linda Robey for a FIVE Point major to finish his AKC Championship!!

Ike is owned by Stacie Coates (I just co-own him). He was handled by Heather Blackford (THANK YOU !!).

Ike is now:

AKC CH. Stoneoak PLUMRIDGE Bronze Icon!!!

Ike is a son of our "Tanner" and "Tailor".

I am so proud!!!

Weekend Wins

I had a very tough week this past week. For that reason I chose to stay home from the local ASCA show. (it was hard to stay home but I did).

Meanwhile, the PlumRidge Pooches (or those related to our guys) were out there doing great things!!!

At the UKC show in Michigan on Friday March 12th, "Ike" (Tailor x Tanner pup) took 1st in the Champions class at the first show and BEST OF BREED in the second show!

Good job STACIE AND IKE!!!

Above is a beautiful Carver son. This pup is from the Sunnycreek Aussies breeding of "Carver to Peach". He resides in Germany. He took a Reserve Winner's Dog over a large entry at an ASCA show in Germany!!

I am very grateful to all the great news over the weekend!! It sure helped my spirits!! THANKS GUYS!!!

More points for IKE!!

Ike took two more singles this past weekend in Lima, OH!! He now only needs a 3 point major to finish!! (he has 10 points including a 4 pt major).

Ike only showed two of the four day show and TOTALLY bald he still won!! I am so proud of Stacie and all her effort she has put into her boy. That major will come ... I am sure of it!!

I had my laptop crash (hard drive is gone!!) so my files are not easily accessible (thankfully most is backed up on an external drive ... not all but most!!) so I don't have a photo of Ike to post.

Took this shot of the "Pretty Boy" today.

Red Merle boy's home fell thru!!

We feel we have waited long enough. The home that arranged to show and put a deposit on this wonderful boy, appears unable to take him. So at no fault to this pretty boy, he is looking for a home again.

We will entertain all types of homes (show, performance or simple active companion). All appropriate contracts and guarantees will apply (of course).

He is a nice middle of the road puppy. He is not a 'over the top peel off the ceiling' puppy but he is not going to be a couch potato either.

Structurally I am still very pleased with him, he is holding himself together very well even heading into the 'puppy gangles' stage.

He is used to playing with the adult dogs (seen here with his Mom Tailor)

And has good respect for his elders (not an overly dominate puppy)

He also is quite personable and comes when you call him!!

If I didn't have access to his older brother "Ike" I would be tempted .............

Tanner's "Clone"

Here is Tanner's "Clone"!! Which is why I plan to name him "PlumRidge Cloned in Bronze" I plan to call him "Owen" as a call name.

Every time I watch this boy, I think back to when his daddy was a puppy!! (It's like a walk down memory lane!)

In some ways I am pleased he does not have so much white, as he LOVES to be wet and muddy (less white to keep 'white').

Tailor's Red Bi Boy

Here is the dark Red Bi boy from Tailor's litter by Tanner. I think since Tailor is the reason he has no tan points (she does not either) and he still reminds me a great deal of his daddy Tanner in structure, his name will be "PlumRidge Tailor Made in Bronze" (no I don't have a great call name yet ... but welcome suggestions)

He is going to have a pretty head!!

He found a old piece of felted wool in the yard (and yep he found the one that is his color!!)

The pups are picking up my addiction for Mt. Dew as well. (I just like them full and they love them empty!!) If I could only teach them to put them in the recycle bin!
