Snow, Ice, and Mud? (huh??)

Well our weather has been the typical ever changing stuff. One day it is frozen ground and cold, then the next day it heats up to be mud (then add rain... and more rain!!) then back to cold that adds ice ... think that about covers all of it (for now).

When other places were getting terrible ice, we got sleet and rain mix... so not the pretty photos of the ice frozen to everything. But also not many cars in the ditches or the problems of downed trees and power lines (can be very thankful for that!!)

Thurs we got rain, and sleet on top of our snow, so most of the snow melted but not quite all of it. Then it froze the water buckets and most of the ground (not all hence the mud).

I turned the imported pups out to play in the backyard this morning and when I went to check on them ... they came round the corner with MUDDY paws!! The little red merle boy came up to me with mud on his paws and a chunk of ice from a bucket I dumped in his mouth!!

Needless to say they were pleased with the snow in spots, mud (to dig a holes in)and of course chunks of ice to carry about !!
