Monday we were 7 degrees but with windchill it was -37 (did I mention the day before we were in the 40s??).
Today has been, snow turned to sleet, and now is rain ... and RAIN and MORE rain...
This is the hydrant I prefer to use to fill water buckets for the play yards for the dogs. And YES that is a hydrant fully open and NO water is coming out. Yep it's frozen!! I can count on one hand the times this has happened in the last 8 years!!
The ice has already formed on it .... but I am sure with all the rain we now have as soon as the temp drops (again) it will be frozen shut so I can't even raise the handle!!
